Getting There

• Walking

  If you are in downtown Kigali, start at the Kigali City Tower located at Avenue du Commerce. Walk down Avenue du Commerce towards the intersection with Rue de l'Indépendance. From there, take a left onto Rue de l'Indépendance and walk straight until you reach the Nyabugogo Bus Terminal, which is about a 20-minute walk. At the bus terminal, look for a moto-taxi (motorcycle taxi) stand. Negotiate a fare with one of the drivers to take you to 4 KG 159 St. The ride should take approximately 15 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you arrive, you will see signs for the Airport Kigali viewpoint.

• Public Transport (Bus)

  From the Kigali City Center, walk to the Nyabugogo Bus Terminal. Here, you will find buses that head towards the Kanombe area, which is near the Airport Kigali viewpoint. Take a bus that specifically goes to Kanombe and inform the conductor that you want to get off at 4 KG 159 St. The bus ride should take about 30 minutes. After getting off, you may need to walk a short distance (about 5-10 minutes) to reach the viewpoint.

• Moto-taxi

  If you are at a popular location like the Kigali Convention Centre, you can easily catch a moto-taxi to Airport Kigali viewpoint. Just ask one of the drivers waiting outside the center to take you to 4 KG 159 St. The journey should take around 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. Ensure to negotiate the fare before starting your trip.
