Getting There

Walking
From the center of Basseterre, head west towards the Bay Road (also known as the waterfront road). Walk along the Bay Road until you reach the junction at the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the Frigate Bay Road. Continue along this road for about 5 kilometers. You will pass several local shops and restaurants along the way. As you approach Frigate Bay, keep an eye out for signs directing you to Pinneys Beach. The beach is located on the western side of St. Kitts, and you will see the entrance just off the main road. Follow the path leading to the beach.

Taxi
If you prefer a quicker option, you can take a local taxi from anywhere in Basseterre. Just tell the driver you want to go to Pinneys Beach. The ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic. Make sure to agree on the fare before starting your journey, as most taxis in St. Kitts do not have meters.

Public Transportation (Bus)
To reach Pinneys Beach using public transportation, walk to the nearest bus stop in Basseterre. Look for a bus heading towards Frigate Bay. Once on the bus, inform the driver that you wish to get off at Pinneys Beach. The fare is usually inexpensive. The bus will drop you off near the entrance to the beach, where you can enjoy a short walk to the sand.
