Walking
From the center of Basseterre, head east on Fort Street towards the National Museum. Continue straight until you reach the traffic lights at the intersection with Bay Road. Turn left onto Bay Road and follow it as it curves along the coast. After about 1.5 miles, you'll arrive at South Friars Bay, which will be on your left-hand side. Look for the beach access points marked by signs.

Locate the bus terminal in Basseterre, which is near the ferry terminal. Look for the bus that is headed to Frigate Bay. Board the bus and inform the driver that you wish to go to South Friars Bay. The ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Once you reach Frigate Bay, disembark the bus; South Friars Bay is a short walk from there. Follow the signs towards the beach.

Find a taxi stand in Basseterre, which is usually located near the cruise terminal or the public market. Tell the driver you want to go to South Friars Bay. The ride should take around 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic. The taxi will drop you off near the beach access points.
