    If you're starting from the Cruise Port in Basseterre, exit the port area and head straight towards the main road (Bay Road). Turn left onto Bay Road and continue walking for about 10 minutes. You will pass several shops and restaurants on your left. Keep walking straight until you reach Independence Square, which will be on your right-hand side. Look for the large green park area with benches and trees.

Take the first exit onto Bay Road and continue walking towards the direction of the Cruise Port. After about a 10-minute walk, you will see Independence Square on your right.
