    From the center of Basseterre, head southeast on Fort Street towards the Independence Square. Continue straight until you reach the end of Fort Street, then turn left onto Church Street. Walk down Church Street until you reach the junction with the Bay Road (also known as the Main Road). Turn right onto Bay Road and continue walking for about 1.5 miles (2.4 km). You will see signs directing you to Charlestown. Once you arrive in Charlestown, follow the signs to the waterfront area, where you will find the main attractions.

    From Basseterre, head to the public bus terminal located on the corner of Cayon Street and the Bay Road. Look for buses heading to Charlestown. The fare is usually very affordable (around EC$2). The bus ride should take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive in Charlestown, disembark at the main bus stop, which is centrally located. From there, you can easily walk to various attractions in the area.
