Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Cayon, head south towards the main road. Turn left onto the main road (A1) and continue walking for about 1.5 miles until you reach the junction for the ferry terminal. At the junction, follow the signs for the ferry to Nevis. Once at the ferry terminal, purchase your ticket for the ferry to Nevis. The ferry ride will take approximately 30 minutes. After disembarking at Oualie Beach terminal on Nevis, walk towards the beach area, which is well signposted.

    Start at the main bus stop in Cayon, which is located near the village center. Take a bus heading towards Basseterre and ask the driver to drop you off at the ferry terminal for Nevis. The bus ride will take about 20 minutes. Once you arrive at the ferry terminal, purchase a ticket for the ferry to Nevis. After approximately 30 minutes on the ferry, you will arrive at Oualie Beach terminal. Simply follow the signs to the beach from the terminal.

    If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from Cayon to the ferry terminal in Basseterre. Taxis are readily available throughout Cayon. Inform the driver that you want to go to the ferry terminal for Nevis. The taxi ride will take around 20 minutes. Once at the terminal, purchase your ferry ticket to Nevis, which will take about 30 minutes. After arriving at Oualie Beach terminal, follow the signs to the beach.
