Start at the center of Newcastle, close to the main square. Head southeast on the main road (the Bay Road) towards the coast. Continue walking along this road for approximately 1.5 miles until you reach the junction at the coast. At the junction, turn right onto the road that leads towards Cockleshell Bay. Follow this road for about another mile, enjoying the views of the ocean. As you approach Cockleshell Bay, you will see signs indicating the area. The bay will be on your left, and you can access it directly from the road.
