Walking
From the center of Newcastle, head south towards the main road. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the main road heading towards Vaughans. Follow this road for about 1 kilometer. You should see signs directing you toward the Montravers Estate. The estate is located on an unnamed road just off the main road, identifiable by the Nevis Historic Trail sign marking the trail.

From Newcastle, walk to the nearest bus stop along the main road. Board a bus heading towards Vaughans. Inform the driver you want to get off at the stop closest to Montravers Estate. Once you disembark, walk towards the direction of the Nevis Historic Trail sign, which will lead you to Montravers Estate. It’s a short walk from the bus stop.
