Getting There

Walking
From the center of Dauphin, head towards the main road (Route 6) and follow it south. You will pass a few local shops and eateries. Continue walking until you reach the sign for Mt Fortune, which is about a 30-minute walk from the center. The path will become steep, but you will see local signage to guide you up to the peak.

Hiking
If you are already familiar with the area, you can take a hiking path that branches off from the main road. Look for the trailhead near the old coconut grove, which is roughly 20 minutes from the center of Dauphin. This path is marked and will lead you directly to Mt Fortune, but be prepared for a more challenging trek.

Public Transport
Although there isn't a direct bus service specifically to Mt Fortune, you can take a local bus from the main bus terminal in Dauphin heading towards Vieux Fort. Ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest point to Mt Fortune. From there, it’s about a 15-minute walk to the entrance of the hiking trail.
