Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car within Pointe aux Canons, start at the main road (Route de l'Aéroport). Head southeast toward Boulevard du Golfe. Continue straight for about 5 minutes until you reach the intersection with Rue de la Pointe. Take a right onto Rue de la Pointe and follow it until you reach the end of the road. You will see a small parking area near the Observatoire de l'Anse à Pierre, which is located at QRMC+XF9, Saint-Pierre. Parking is generally free.

  For those using public transportation, you can catch a local bus from the Pointe aux Canons bus station. Look for a bus heading towards the center of Saint-Pierre. The journey takes about 10-15 minutes. Get off at the stop closest to Boulevard du Golfe. From there, you can either walk to Observatoire de l'Anse à Pierre, which is about a 20-minute walk, or use a taxi for a quicker ride. The taxi fare typically ranges from 10 to 15 euros.

  If you prefer to walk from a central location in Pointe aux Canons, start at the town square. Head south on Rue de la Gare, then take a left onto Boulevard du Golfe. Continue walking straight for approximately 1.5 kilometers. After about 20 minutes, you will reach the parking area of the Observatoire de l'Anse à Pierre.
