Start at the center of Barrouallie, near the local market. Head east on Main Street until you reach the junction with the Owia Road. Turn left onto Owia Road and continue straight. You'll pass a few local shops and houses along the way. Keep an eye out for the signs pointing towards Owia. As you follow the road, you will pass through the village of Owia. Continue straight until you reach the Owia Salt Pond, which will be on your left. The journey should take about 45 minutes to an hour, depending on your pace.

From the center of Barrouallie, walk to the bus stop located near the local market. Look for a minibus heading towards Owia. The fare is usually quite affordable. Once aboard, inform the driver that you want to go to the Owia Salt Pond. They will drop you off at the nearest point to the pond. After getting off, walk a short distance towards the pond, which should be visible from the bus stop.
