From Port Elizabeth, start at the Ferry Terminal. Head east along the main road (Princess Margaret Beach Road) towards the direction of Princess Margaret Beach. Continue walking for about 20 minutes until you reach the intersection near the beach. At this point, take a right onto the road leading to the beach. Enjoy the scenery as you walk along the coastline. After reaching Princess Margaret Beach, follow the path up to the hill that leads towards Byera Hill. This part of the walk will take you about 30 minutes. Once you reach the top, follow the signs towards Black Point Tunnel, which is approximately a 10-minute walk from the hilltop. From Port Elizabeth, you can hire a boat taxi to take you closer to Black Point Tunnel. Approach any boat taxi service near the harbor and request a ride to Byera Hill. The boat ride usually takes about 15 minutes. Once you arrive at Byera Hill, disembark and follow the path leading to the tunnel, which is about a 15-minute walk from the drop-off point.
