From the center of Mayreau, head southwest towards the beach. Walk along the coastline, following the path that connects the main beach to the southern end of the island. Continue on this path for about 15-20 minutes until you reach Salt Whistle Bay. At Salt Whistle Bay, take a moment to enjoy the beautiful view. From here, follow the coastal trail that leads further southward. You will encounter some rocky areas, so be cautious. After approximately 10 minutes of walking, you will reach a small cove. Look for a well-marked trail that leads up the hill. Follow this trail for about 10-15 minutes until you reach the top where you will see a sign for Black Point Tunnel. The entrance to the tunnel is around the corner, just a short distance away.

If you prefer a quicker route, you can take a local boat from Mayreau to Byera Hill, where Black Point Tunnel is located. Head to the main dock in Mayreau and inquire about boat services to Byera Hill. The boat ride will take approximately 20-30 minutes, depending on sea conditions. Once you arrive at Byera Hill, follow the trail from the dock that leads to Black Point Tunnel. The tunnel is about a 10-minute walk from the dock, marked by clear signage along the way.
