Start your journey at the main square of Borgo Maggiore, known as Piazza Grande. From the square, head south on Via della Libertà. Follow this road until you reach the intersection with Via XX Settembre. Turn left onto Via XX Settembre and continue straight. Look for signs pointing towards the 'Guaita' and 'Cesta' towers, as they will guide you in the right direction. Continue walking uphill; the road will eventually lead you to the foot of the mountain. As you approach the base, you will see a trail marked for the Third Tower - Montale. Follow the trail which will lead you directly to the tower, approximately a 20-30 minute hike from the town center.

The hike will take about 10-15 minutes from the city center, so be prepared for a slight incline.
