Getting There

• Walking

  From the center of Chiesanuova, head west on Via della Libertà towards Via della Storia. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via del Fiume. Turn left onto Via del Fiume and walk until you reach a bus stop labeled 'Chiesanuova - Fondo Biondi'. From there, you can catch a bus to San Marino. The bus ride will take approximately 15 minutes. Once you arrive at the bus station in San Marino, exit and head towards the city center. Follow the signs towards the Basilica of Saint Marinus, which is located in Piazzale Domus Plebis. It is about a 10-minute walk from the bus station.

• Public Transport

  Starting from Chiesanuova, walk to the nearest bus stop and take bus line 171 or 172 towards San Marino. The ride lasts about 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive at the San Marino bus terminal, exit the bus and head towards the center. Follow the signs that direct you to Piazzale Domus Plebis. The Basilica of Saint Marinus is located there, and you should be able to see it from a distance as you approach the square.

• Walking

  If you prefer to walk the entire way, start in Chiesanuova by heading towards the main road, Via della Libertà. Follow it until you reach the outskirts of San Marino. As you walk, you will see signs directing you to San Marino city. Once in San Marino, continue on Via della Libertà until you reach the central area. The Basilica of Saint Marinus will be evident as you approach Piazzale Domus Plebis, and it should take roughly 1 hour to walk from Chiesanuova to the Basilica.
