From Praia Banana, head northeast on the main road towards the city of São Tomé. Continue driving for approximately 15 km until you reach the junction at the roundabout. Take the second exit onto the N1 road towards Picão. After about 5 km, look for the signs directing you to Roça Paciencia. Turn left onto Unnamed Road (MCCJ+JRR). Roça Paciencia will be a short distance down this road.

Catch a local minibus (called a 'cuca') from Praia Banana heading towards São Tomé. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Picão. The ride will take about 30 minutes and cost around 5,000 Dobra (roughly $1). Once you arrive in Picão, you will need to walk or take a taxi to Roça Paciencia. Taxis are available at the drop-off point and should cost around 10,000 Dobra ($2) for the short ride to the location.
