If you are driving within the Empty Quarter Desert, head towards the coordinates 22.9750° N, 53.7854° E. From the nearest major city, Abu Dhabi, take the E11 highway towards Liwa Oasis. After approximately 2 hours of driving, you will reach the Liwa area. Once you arrive in Liwa, follow road signs leading to Moreeb Dune. The dune is well-marked and can be accessed via a dirt road from the main highway. Ensure that your vehicle is suitable for off-road driving as the terrain can be challenging.

Public transportation options are limited in the Empty Quarter. However, you can take a bus from Abu Dhabi to the town of Liwa. Once you reach Liwa, you will need to hire a taxi or arrange for a 4x4 vehicle rental to fully explore the surrounding dunes, including Moreeb Dune. It's advisable to book your taxi in advance, as availability may vary. Expect to pay around 200 SAR for a taxi ride from Liwa to Moreeb Dune.
