Getting There
Car
If you are driving, start from downtown Dakar. Head south on Avenue Moussa Tavele towards Rue de la République. Continue straight to merge onto the N1 road. Keep following signs for N1 towards Kaolack. After about 6 km, take exit 4 for Route de la Corniche. Follow Route de la Corniche until you reach a roundabout. Take the first exit onto Avenue Cheikh Anta Diop and continue for approximately 1.5 km. Turn left onto Rue des Mamelles. Continue straight, and then turn right onto Montagne 6, where you will find Mur des legendes at PHMM+PVP Montagne 6.
Public Transportation
To reach Mur des legendes by public transport, start at Place de l'Indépendance in downtown Dakar. Take a petite voiture (shared taxi) heading towards Hann. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Hann Bel-Air. The fare should be around 200-300 CFA (approximately $0.34-$0.51). After getting off, head towards the direction of Montagne 6. You can ask locals for directions to Mur des legendes, as it is a known landmark. It is about a 15-minute walk from where you will be dropped off.
Bicycle
If you prefer biking, you can rent a bicycle in Dakar. Start from the city center and head towards Avenue Moussa Tavele. Follow the same route as mentioned for driving, but keep in mind that the roads can be busy. Once you reach Route de la Corniche, you can enjoy a scenic ride along the coast. From the roundabout, take Avenue Cheikh Anta Diop and then Rue des Mamelles, before turning onto Montagne 6. The ride should take about 30-40 minutes, depending on your pace.
