Getting There

• Public Transport (Bus)

  If you are starting from the central area of Dakar, head to the nearby bus stop. Look for the bus line 12, which goes towards the Fann-Point E-Amitié area. Board the bus and enjoy the local scenery. After approximately 20-30 minutes, get off at the Fann Hock bus stop. From there, walk towards the coastline; Corniche Ouest will be a short 10-minute walk along the waterfront, where you can enjoy views of the Atlantic Ocean.

• Walking

  If you are near the Dakar Grand Mosque, you can walk to Corniche Ouest. From the mosque, head west towards the coast. Follow Avenue Moussa Tavele until it merges into the coastal road. Continue walking along the waterfront for about 20-25 minutes. Corniche Ouest will be along this route, and you will be able to enjoy the ocean views as you approach your destination.

• Taxi (Shared Taxi)

  For a more direct route, you can also take a shared taxi. Head to a nearby taxi stand and look for a shared taxi heading towards Fann-Point E-Amitié or simply ask for Corniche Ouest. The ride will take about 15 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive, you may need to walk a short distance towards the waterfront to reach Corniche Ouest.

• Bicycle

  If you are feeling adventurous, consider renting a bicycle. Start from central Dakar and head towards the coast via Avenue Cheikh Anta Diop. Once you reach the coastline, continue cycling along the waterfront road. The ride should take around 30-40 minutes, and you will arrive at Corniche Ouest, enjoying the fresh sea breeze along the way.
