Car
If you're traveling by car, start from Novi Sad, Bačka's largest city. Take the E75 highway towards Belgrade. After approximately 80 km, take the exit towards Senta and then merge onto Route 34 towards Donji Milanovac. Continue on Route 34 for about 50 km until you reach Donji Milanovac. Once in Donji Milanovac, follow signs for Lepenski Vir. The archaeological site is located at Boljetin bb, and you can park nearby. Be prepared for a small parking fee of around 100 RSD.
Public Transportation
For public transportation, take a bus from Novi Sad to Donji Milanovac. The journey will take approximately 2.5 to 3 hours. Buses typically leave from the Novi Sad bus station several times a day. Once you arrive at the Donji Milanovac bus station, you can either walk (about 30 minutes) to Lepenski Vir or take a local taxi. The taxi may cost around 500 RSD to reach the site directly. Make sure to check the bus schedule ahead of time to plan your visit.

If you're already in a nearby town such as Donji Milanovac, you can take a taxi directly to Lepenski Vir. Taxis are readily available and the fare should be around 500 RSD from the town center to the archaeological site. It's advisable to confirm the fare with the driver before starting your trip.
