Getting there

Bus

To get to Beli Potok, begin at the main bus station in Belgrade, known as 'BAS' (Beogradska autobuska stanica). From there, take the bus number 21 towards 'Banjica 2'. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the 'Beli Potok' stop, disembark and follow the road signs towards the Avala mountain area. It’s a short walk from the bus stop to the hiking trails.

Tram and Walk

Start at the 'Republic Square' (Trg republike) in downtown Belgrade. Take tram line 9 heading towards 'Banjica', and get off at the 'Banjica' stop. From there, switch to bus number 21, which will take you directly to 'Beli Potok'. After getting off at 'Beli Potok' stop, follow the signs leading up to Avala mountain. The walk is about 15-20 minutes uphill to the peak.

Taxi

If you prefer a more direct option, you can take a taxi from any central location in Belgrade. Simply tell the driver you want to go to 'Beli Potok', and they will take you directly to the area near the Avala mountain. The journey will take around 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic.

Walking

For the more adventurous, if you are staying in the nearby neighborhoods such as 'Banjica' or 'Stepa Stepanovic', you can walk to Beli Potok. Simply follow the main road towards the Avala mountain area. The walk can take about 1 to 1.5 hours, and you'll be rewarded with scenic views along the path.
