Public Transport
If you are near the Republic Square (Trg republike), take tram number 2 towards 'Dorinac' and get off at the 'Kalemegdan' stop. From there, follow the signs leading you to the Kalemegdan fortress, which is just a short walk away.
Walking
If you are in the city center near Knez Mihailova Street, simply walk towards the confluence of the Sava and Danube rivers. Head north towards the Kalemegdan Park entrance. The park is situated on a hill and provides beautiful panoramic views of the rivers.

You can easily hail a taxi from almost anywhere in Belgrade. Just tell the driver 'Kalemegdan' or show them the address: Kalemegdan bb, 11000 Beograd. The ride should not take more than 10-15 minutes depending on traffic.

You can take bus number 21 from the city center (Republic Square). Get off at the 'Kalemegdan' stop. This bus runs frequently and is a convenient way to reach the fortress.
