If you are driving, start from the center of Fruška Gora National Park. Head towards the main road (M21) and take the exit towards Šabac. Continue on M21 for approximately 30 km until you reach the outskirts of Šabac. Follow the signs to the city center, then navigate to Savska bb, where Šabac Fortress is located. There is parking available near the fortress, but be sure to check for parking fees.

Public Transportation
To reach the fortress by public transport, find the nearest bus station in Fruška Gora National Park. You can take a bus to Šabac; these buses run regularly throughout the day. The bus journey takes about 45 minutes to 1 hour. Once you arrive at the Šabac bus station, you can either walk to the fortress (approximately 15 minutes) or take a local taxi for a small fee, usually around 300-500 RSD (Serbian dinars). Just ask the taxi driver to take you to Savska bb.

If you are already in Šabac and want to walk to the fortress, start from the city center. Head towards the river Savva and follow the path along the river. It’s a pleasant walk of about 20-30 minutes. Keep an eye out for signs directing you to Savska bb, where the fortress is located. The path is relatively easy and accessible.
