Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Novi Sad, head towards the Danube River. You can start at Freedom Square (Trg Slobode). Walk south along the main street (Bulevar Oslobođenja) towards the river. Once you reach the riverbank, turn left and walk along the Danube promenade for about 1 kilometer. You'll see the Petrovaradin Fortress across the river. To cross the river, take the pedestrian bridge (Most Slobode). After crossing, continue straight up the hill to the fortress entrance.

  • Public Transport

    From the main bus station (Autobuska stanica Novi Sad), take bus number 4 or 5 towards Petrovaradin. The journey takes about 15 minutes. Get off at the last stop, Petrovaradin. From there, walk towards the Petrovaradin Fortress. Follow the signs leading to the fortress, and once you reach the entrance, follow the path leading to the catacombs located at 3D Svet, Hornwerk.

  • Bicycle

    If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the rental stations in Novi Sad. Start at the Danube promenade and ride towards the pedestrian bridge (Most Slobode).
