Getting There

Walking
If you are in the central area of Petrovaradin, head towards the main street, Tvrđava BB. Follow the signs leading to the Petrovaradin Fortress. As you walk, you will notice the path will incline slightly as you approach the fortress. Continue walking until you reach the entrance to the fortress, which is marked clearly. Upon entering, follow the pathways that lead up to the clock tower, which is located at the highest point of the fortress. This walk should take approximately 15-20 minutes, depending on your pace.

Public Transport (Bus)
If you are coming from Novi Sad, take a bus from the main bus station to Petrovaradin. Look for bus lines that state 'Petrovaradin' as their destination. The bus ride will take around 15 minutes. Once you arrive at the Petrovaradin bus stop, exit and follow the signs towards the fortress. Walk along Tvrđava BB street for about 10-15 minutes until you reach the entrance of the fortress. After entering the fortress, proceed to the clock tower at the top. Be mindful that a bus ticket costs approximately 100 RSD.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle at various rental points in Novi Sad and ride towards Petrovaradin. Follow the bike paths along the Danube river until you reach the fortress area. Once you arrive at the bottom of the fortress, park your bicycle at a designated bike rack and walk up the paths leading to the clock tower. This route is scenic and should take around 30 minutes of cycling, plus an additional 10 minutes of walking to the clock.
