Walking
Start at the La Digue jetty, where you arrive on the island. From the jetty, head towards the main road (L'Union Estate). Continue straight until you reach the fork in the road. Take the left path towards Anse Source d'Argent, which is well-signposted. Follow this road for about 1 kilometer until you reach a T-junction. Here, you will see signs pointing towards Anse Takamaka. Turn right and continue on this road. After about 1.5 kilometers, you will reach Anse Takamaka. The beach is located just a short walk from the road.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops near the La Digue jetty. Once you have your bike, start from the jetty and ride towards the main road (L'Union Estate). Continue straight until you hit the fork; take the left path towards Anse Source d'Argent. Cycle for about 1 kilometer until you reach the T-junction. At the T-junction, turn right towards Anse Takamaka. This route is approximately 1.5 kilometers of scenic cycling to the beach.
