Getting There

  • Bicycle

    From the main ferry terminal in La Digue, rent a bicycle, which is a popular way to explore the island. Head east on the main road. After about 1.5 kilometers, you will reach the intersection near the L'Union Estate. Continue straight on the main road for another 1 kilometer until you reach the end of the road by the beach. Turn left at the beachfront and follow the road until you see signs pointing towards Craft Village on your right. It should be within a 10-minute ride from the beach area.

  • Walking

    If you prefer to walk, start at the main ferry terminal and head east along the main road. Walk approximately 1.5 kilometers until you reach the L'Union Estate. From there, continue walking straight for another 1 kilometer along the main road. You’ll eventually reach a beach area where you can turn left. Continue walking along the beachfront until you see Craft Village on your right. The total walking distance is about 3 kilometers and should take around 30-40 minutes.

    Start at the main ferry terminal and look for the local bus stop. Take the bus heading towards the eastern part of the island. Inform the driver to drop you off near the L'Union Estate. From there, walk straight along the main road for about 1 kilometer until you reach the beach. At the beach, turn left and follow the road until you see Craft Village on your right. The bus ride is short, and the total journey may take around 20-30 minutes.
