Getting There

  • Car

If you're driving, start from Victoria, the capital of Mahé. Head northwest on the Victoria - Beau Vallon Road (also called the coastal road). Continue for about 5 km until you reach the junction at the Anse Etoile area. Take a right onto the road leading to Copolia Trail. Follow the signs for approximately 1 km. There will be a small parking area at the trailhead. Please note that parking can be limited, especially during peak tourist times.

For those using public transportation, head to the main bus terminal in Victoria. Take Bus No. 21 or Bus No. 22 that heads towards Anse Etoile. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the Copolia Trail stop. The bus ride usually takes around 20-30 minutes. After alighting, follow the path leading toward the trailhead, which is approximately a 10-minute walk uphill. Ensure to check the bus schedule for return trips, as they may vary.

  • Walking

If you are located nearby, you can also walk to the Copolia Trail. From the nearest bus stop, follow the road uphill towards the trail entrance. Keep an eye out for the signs indicating the trailhead. The walk can be steep, so be prepared for a bit of a hike before you even reach the trail.
