From the center of Port Glaud, head west along the main road (the road you arrived on). Keep an eye out for local signs pointing towards hiking trails. Continue walking until you reach a junction near the entrance of the Port Glaud Fishing Port. Here, take a right turn onto the road leading to N.Y.S. Village. Follow this road until you reach a small pathway on your left that leads into the forest, which signifies the start of the Casse Dent Trail.

Alternatively, if you're near the Port Glaud community center, start by heading towards the main road and turn left. Walk straight until you see a sign for Casse Dent Trail on your right. This path will take you directly to the trailhead.

Continue straight until you reach a fork in the road; take the left path which will lead you towards N.Y.S. Village.
