If you are in Baie Sainte Anne, start by heading to the Baie Sainte Anne Jetty. From there, take a ferry to the main island of Praslin. Upon arrival at the Praslin Jetty, walk towards the main road. Follow the signs towards Anse Volbert Beach. Continue along the main road until you reach the intersection with the road leading to the Vallee de Mai Nature Reserve. Turn left at this intersection and walk straight until you see the entrance to the Mare Aux Cochons Trail on your right.

If you are in Anse Volbert, start by walking towards the main road (Route de la Digue) and head south. Follow the road until you reach the junction leading to the Vallee de Mai Nature Reserve. Turn left at this junction and continue straight. Look for the sign for Mare Aux Cochons Trail on your right. The trail entrance will be marked, and you can begin your hike from there.
