From Chinatown MRT Station, take Exit A and walk straight towards the Chinatown Point shopping mall. Once you reach the mall, continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Upper Cross Street. Turn right onto Upper Cross Street. Walk past the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple on your left. Continue walking until you reach the junction with South Bridge Road and turn left. Walk towards Clarke Quay and cross the bridge at the traffic light. Continue straight, and you will see the Former City Hall on your left, located at 3 St Andrew's Rd.

If you are at the Sri Mariamman Temple, exit the temple and head east towards Pagoda Street. Turn right onto Pagoda Street and walk straight until you reach Smith Street. Turn left and continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with New Bridge Road. Cross the road and turn right onto New Bridge Road. Walk straight until you see the junction with St Andrew's Road. Turn left onto St Andrew's Road, and the Former City Hall will be ahead on your right.

Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with New Bridge Road. Cross over New Bridge Road, and turn right. Walk until you reach St Andrew's Road and turn left; the Former City Hall will be directly ahead.
