Getting There

Walking
Start at the Chinatown MRT Station (Exit A). Once you exit, you will find yourself on Pagoda Street. Walk straight along Pagoda Street, and you will reach the Chinatown Food Street. Continue walking straight until you reach the end of the street. Turn left onto Smith Street and walk for about 5 minutes until you reach the intersection with Upper Cross Street. Cross Upper Cross Street and continue walking straight until you reach the entrance of the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple. From there, take the path that leads to Chinatown Complex and follow the signs towards the Singapore River. As you walk, you will eventually come to the entrance of Fort Canning Park. Gothic Gate is located within this park, so enter through the gates and follow the path to your right. The Gothic Gate will be ahead on your left.

Alternatively, you can start at the Chinatown Heritage Centre, located on Pagoda Street. Exit the Centre and turn left onto Pagoda Street. Walk straight until you reach the end of the street. Turn right onto Trengganu Street, and then take another right onto Upper Cross Street. Continue walking straight until you see the entrance to Fort Canning Park on your left. Enter the park, and you will find Gothic Gate along the walking path.
