    Walking

    From Chinatown, head towards the Chinatown MRT Station, which is located on Pagoda Street. Take Exit A to get to Pagoda Street. Once you are outside, walk straight and take a left onto New Bridge Road. Continue walking along New Bridge Road until you reach the junction with Upper Cross Street. Cross the road and continue straight until you reach the Singapore River. From there, you can take a leisurely walk along the river towards the direction of the Southern Ridges. Follow the signs to the Southern Ridges walking trail. Make sure to follow the trail signs leading towards Henderson Waves.

    Public Bus

    From Chinatown, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located on New Bridge Road. Board bus number 123 or 196. Stay on the bus for about 15-20 minutes. You will need to alight at the bus stop called 'Henderson Road' near the junction with Alexandra Road. Once you get off the bus, walk along Henderson Road until you see signs directing you to Henderson Waves. Follow the trail signs which will lead you to the bridge.
