If you are in the heart of Chinatown, start at the Chinatown MRT Station. Exit the station and head towards Pagoda Street, a vibrant street lined with shops and eateries. Walk along Pagoda Street until you reach the intersection with Smith Street. Turn left onto Smith Street and continue straight. You will see the Chinatown Food Street on your right, which is a great place to grab a bite if you wish. Continue straight until you reach the end of Smith Street, where it intersects with New Bridge Road. Cross New Bridge Road and keep walking straight ahead; you will eventually see Clarke Quay on your left. As you approach Clarke Quay, look for the signs pointing towards Read Bridge. The bridge is located at 1B Clarke Quay, and you will find it right by the riverside. Enjoy the beautiful views as you walk along the riverbank towards the bridge.
