If you are at the Orchard MRT Station, exit the station and head towards Orchard Road. Follow Orchard Road until you reach the intersection with Scotts Road. Cross the road to the opposite side and continue straight along Orchard Road. After approximately 1.5 kilometers, you will reach Dhoby Ghaut MRT Station. From there, take the North-South Line (Red Line) towards Marina South Pier and alight at the next station, Bras Basah. Once you exit the station, head towards Waterloo Street. The Kwan Im Thong Hood Cho Temple will be on your left at 178 Waterloo St.
