From Orchard Road, head to the nearest MRT station, Orchard MRT Station (NS22, North-South Line). Take the train towards Marina South Pier. Alight at Dhoby Ghaut MRT Station (NS24, NE6, CC1). Transfer to the North-East Line and take the train towards Punggol. Alight at Outram Park MRT Station (NE3). Transfer to the East West Line and take the train towards Pasir Ris. Alight at Jurong East MRT Station (EW24). Exit the station and walk towards the bus interchange.

From Orchard Road, you can catch Bus 7, 77, or 106 at the bus stop along Orchard Road. Ride for about 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic. Alight at the bus stop near Jurong East MRT Station. From there, walk towards the Science Centre Singapore, which is approximately a 10-minute walk.

If you are near the Orchard Gateway, take the escalators down to B1 level and exit to Orchard Road. Walk towards the bus stop and take Bus 77 or 106 as mentioned above. Alternatively, walk to Dhoby Ghaut MRT Station and follow the MRT directions. Note that walking directly from Orchard Road to Science Centre Singapore is not recommended due to the distance, which is about 20 kilometers.
