Bus
From Sembawang MRT Station (NS11), exit the station and head towards the bus interchange. Take Bus 859. The bus will take you directly towards Yishun. Alight at the 'Yishun Ave 1 - Opp Yishun Dam' bus stop. From there, walk approximately 5 minutes along Yishun Ave 1 to reach the entrance of Yishun Dam.
Walking
If you are near Sembawang Park, you can walk towards Yishun Dam. Head east along the coastal path until you reach the end of the park. From there, continue on the path that leads to Yishun Ave 1. Once you reach Yishun Ave 1, turn left and walk for about 15 minutes to reach Yishun Dam.
Walking from Sembawang Shopping Centre
From Sembawang Shopping Centre, exit the building and walk towards Sembawang MRT Station. Cross the road to get to the bus interchange. From there, you can take Bus 859 as mentioned previously, or you can walk along Sembawang Road, then Yishun Ave 1, which takes about 30 minutes.
