Getting There

Public Transport

From the center of Banská Bystrica, head to the main bus station (Autobusová stanica Banská Bystrica). You can walk there or take a tram (lines 1 or 3) to 'Hlavná stanica'. Once at the bus station, look for buses heading to 'Sásová'. The journey takes about 15-20 minutes. Get off at the stop 'Sásová'.
Walking

After getting off at the 'Sásová' bus stop, head straight along the main road (Sásovská cesta) for about 200 meters. You will see a sign for 'Sásovská Valley' on your right. Turn onto the path that leads into the valley. The entrance to the valley is well-marked and the scenery is beautiful. Enjoy your hike!
Combination of Tram and Walking

You can also take tram line 1 or 3 to 'Hlavná stanica' and then transfer to bus line 3 towards 'Sásová'. After getting off at the 'Sásová' bus stop, follow the same walking directions as above to reach Sásovská Valley.
