Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are in the Old Town area, make your way to Františkánske námestie. From the main square, Hlavné námestie, head towards the east side of the square. You should see a sign for Františkánske námestie. Walk straight down this street (Františkánska ulica) until you reach the square, which is a small, picturesque area. The Bratislava City Gallery is located at Mirbachov palác, which is situated at the eastern edge of this square, at address 416/11.

  • Tram

    If you are further away, take tram number 4 or 5 from any tram stop in the city center. Board the tram heading towards the 'Karpaty' or 'Zimný štadión' stops. Get off at the 'Zochova' stop. From there, walk downhill towards the Old Town. Continue straight until you reach Františkánske námestie. The gallery will be at Mirbachov palác on your right.

  • Bus

    If you are near the main bus station (Autobusová stanica), take bus number 93 or 96 towards the city center. Get off at the 'Nový most' stop. From there, head straight towards the bridge and cross over the Danube River. Once on the other side, turn left and walk along the river until you reach the Old Town. Continue to Františkánske námestie, where you will find the gallery at Mirbachov palác, located at 416/11.

Make your way towards the Danube River and follow the river path heading towards the city center.
