Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are in the vicinity of the Bratislava Castle, head down from the castle towards the city center. Walk along the pedestrian path that leads you to the Old Town. Once you reach the bottom of the hill, continue straight until you reach the main road, which is Karadžičova. Turn left onto Karadžičova and walk straight until you reach the intersection with Hlavné námestie. Turn right at the intersection and you will see the Old Town Hall on your right at Hlavné námestie 501/1.

  • Public Transport

    If you are near the Bratislava main train station (Hlavná stanica), take tram number 1 in the direction of 'Dúbravka'. Get off at the 'Zochova' stop. From there, walk towards the center by heading down Karadžičova street. Continue straight until you reach Hlavné námestie. The Old Town Hall will be located on your right at Hlavné námestie 501/1.

    If you are near the Slovak National Theatre, walk down towards the Danube River. Once you reach the riverbank, turn left and follow the river until you reach the bridge. Cross the bridge and continue straight. This will lead you directly into the Old Town. Once you reach the main square (Hlavné námestie), the Old Town Hall is located at Hlavné námestie 501/1, right in front of you.

    From the Main Square (Hlavné námestie), if you are at the Michael's Gate (Michalská brána), simply walk towards the main square. Once you reach the square, the Old Town Hall will be located at Hlavné námestie 501/1, immediately to your right. It's a short walk of about 5 minutes.
