From the heart of Old Town (Stare Mesto), start at the Main Square (Hlavné námestie). Head west on Radničná Street towards the intersection with Karadžičova Street. Continue straight until you reach the end of Karadžičova Street and turn left onto Karpatia Street. Keep walking straight until you reach the junction with Záhradnícka Street. Turn right on Záhradnícka, and continue until you see the signs for Slavín. The walk is approximately 25-30 minutes, depending on your pace.

From the Main Square (Hlavné námestie), walk to the nearest tram stop 'Zochova' located about 5 minutes away. Board tram number 4 or 5 towards 'Dúbravka' or 'Petržalka'. After 5 stops, get off at 'Súmračná' station. From there, it is a 15-minute walk uphill to Slavín. Follow the signs or use a GPS-enabled map for directions.
