Getting There

  • Public Transport - Tram

    From Ruzinov, head to the nearest tram stop, which could be either 'Ruzinov' or 'Svitavská' depending on your location in Ruzinov. Take tram number 9 towards 'Hlavná stanica.' Ride for approximately 10 minutes and get off at the 'Špitálska' stop. Here, transfer to tram number 4 towards 'Dúbravka.' After about 5 minutes, disembark at 'Zámocká' stop.

    From the 'Zámocká' tram stop, head west along Zámocká street. Continue straight, and you will reach the entrance of the Slavín memorial within a 10-minute walk. The path is well-marked, and you will enjoy some scenic views along the way.

  • Public Transport - Bus

    Alternatively, from Ruzinov, you can take bus number 78 from 'Ruzinov' bus stop towards 'Hlavná stanica.' After about 15 minutes, get off at the 'Karpatská' stop. From there, it's a 15-minute walk to Slavín. Head north on Karpatská street, then take a left at the crossroads onto Pažického street, which will lead you directly to the memorial.
