Public Transport - Tram
From the city center, head to the nearest tram stop, such as 'Hlavná stanica' or 'Námestie Maratónu mieru'. Board tram line 2 towards 'Kavečany'. This tram will take you towards the Kavečany district. After approximately 20 minutes, get off at the 'Kavečany' stop. From there, walk along 'Ulica k Zoologickej záhrade' for about 15 minutes until you reach Košice Zoo.

You can take bus line 17 from the 'Hlavná stanica' bus station. Board the bus towards 'Kavečany'. The journey will take around 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Zoologická záhrada' stop, which is directly in front of the zoo. The entrance will be just a short walk from the bus stop.

If you are starting from the city center, you can also walk to the zoo. Head northeast towards 'Mlynská' and then continue onto 'Ulica Kavečany'. Follow this street for approximately 3 km, which will take about 40-50 minutes on foot. The path is straightforward, and you will enjoy views of the surrounding area.
