Getting There

  • Car

    From Slovak Karst National Park, take the E50 road heading east towards the city of Prešov. After approximately 40 kilometers, keep right to merge onto the D1 highway towards Košice. Continue on D1 for about 75 kilometers. Take exit 2 toward Snina and merge onto Route 578. Follow Route 578 for about 30 kilometers until you reach Snina. Once in Snina, follow signs to Poloniny National Park, which is located at Rybníčka 3951, 069 01 Snina. Parking is available at the park entrance.

    From the closest town in Slovak Karst National Park, catch a bus to the town of Prešov. Buses run frequently and the journey takes around 1 hour. From Prešov, transfer to another bus heading to Snina; this leg of the trip takes approximately 2 hours.
