Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start from the nearest town, which is Hranovnica. Head northeast on the D1 highway towards Prešov. After approximately 20 km, take exit 27 for the E50 road towards Rožňava. Continue on E50 for about 15 km, then take the exit towards Rejdová. Once in Rejdová, follow local signs or use a GPS to navigate to Jánošíkova skala, which is located at the coordinates 48.7756° N, 20.2133° E. There is parking available in the vicinity, but please check for any parking fees that may apply.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, start by taking a train or bus to the town of Rožňava. There are regular train services from larger cities like Košice to Rožňava. Once in Rožňava, transfer to a local bus heading to Rejdová. The bus journey takes about 30 minutes. Upon arrival in Rejdová, follow the signs to Jánošíkova skala, which is approximately a 15-minute walk from the bus stop. • Hiking

  If you are already in the Slovak Ore Mountains and prefer to hike, you can access Jánošíkova skala via marked hiking trails.
