If you're traveling by car, start from any location in the Slovak Ore Mountains and head towards the town of Muráň. Use the main road E77 (also known as Route 67) to reach Muráň. Once in Muráň, follow the signs towards Muran Plateau National Park. The entrance to the park is approximately 5 km from the town center. Parking is available at the park entrance, and there may be a small fee for parking, so be prepared with some cash.

For those using public transportation, take a bus to the town of Muráň. Buses frequently run from nearby towns like Revúca and Banská Bystrica. Check the local bus schedules for specific times. Once you arrive in Muráň, you can either walk (approximately 5 km) to the entrance of Muran Plateau National Park or take a local taxi if you prefer not to walk. Be aware that taxi services might not be readily available, so it’s advisable to arrange one in advance or ask locals for recommendations.

If you are already near Muráň and prefer walking, you can hike to the entrance of Muran Plateau National Park. From the center of Muráň, head south on Route 67 and follow the signs towards the park.
