Walking
If you are in the central part of Trenčín, start at the Trenčín train station. Exit the station and head towards the main street, Hurbanova ulica. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Mierové námestie. At the square, you will see the Trenčín Castle (Hrad Trenčín) on the hill in front of you. From Mierové námestie, take the path leading uphill towards the castle. Follow the signs to 'Hrad Trenčín' and enjoy the scenic walk up to the castle, which will take about 15-20 minutes.

From the Trenčín bus station, take bus number 3 in the direction of 'Zlatovce'. The bus will take you closer to the base of Hrad Trenčín. Get off at the stop 'Hrad Trenčín'. From there, follow the signs leading to the castle which is a short uphill walk from the bus stop. The bus ride should take approximately 10 minutes, and the walk from the bus stop to the castle will take about 5 minutes.
