Getting There

Walking
From the center of Trenčín, head southwest towards the Trenčiansky hrad (Trenčín Castle). You can start at the main square, Námestie M. R. Štefánika. Walk along the street called Karpaty that leads towards the castle. Once you reach the castle, continue towards the river Váh. You'll find a footpath along the river. Follow this path, which will take you through a pleasant area with greenery. Keep an eye out for signs leading towards '2nd Island' or 'Biskupice'. After approximately 30 minutes of walking, you will reach the small bridge that leads to the 2nd Island. Cross the bridge and continue walking until you see Stone Beach, which is located on the right side of the island.

From the center of Trenčín, make your way to the Trenčín bus station. Take bus number 22 towards Biskupice. The bus will take you directly to the stop near Biskupická 2896. Once you get off the bus, walk straight for about 5 minutes towards the river. You will see the entrance to the 2nd Island. Follow the path along the riverbank, and after a short walk, you will arrive at Stone Beach. The Small Hydroelectric Power Plant is located nearby, and you can explore that area as well.
