Walking
If you are in the city center of Trenčín, start at the Trenčín Square (Mestská tržnica). From there, head east on Hlavná Street (Hlavná ulica) towards the train station. After about 500 meters, you will reach a junction. Turn left onto Matúšova Street (Matúšova ulica) and continue walking. The castle will be visible on the hill to your right. Follow Matúšova Street for about 1 km until you see the entrance to Trenčín Castle at Matúšova 75/19.

From Trenčín main bus station (Autobusová stanica Trenčín), take bus number 1 or 2 towards the city center. Get off at the stop 'Centrum' (this is about a 5-minute ride). After exiting the bus, walk along Hlavná Street (Hlavná ulica) towards Trenčín Square. Continue with the walking directions mentioned previously by heading east and taking Matúšova Street to reach Trenčín Castle.
