Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Martin, the largest city in Turiec. Head south on Cintorínska towards Zelená and turn left onto Hlavná Street (Route 59). Continue on Route 59 for approximately 7 kilometers until you reach the exit for Stráňavy. Follow the signs to Stráňavy, and then navigate to Unnamed Road where Polom výhľad is located. There is parking available near the viewing point.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Polom výhľad using public transportation, start at the main bus station in Martin. Take a bus towards Stráňavy (look for routes that mention Stráňavy). The bus ride will take about 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic. Get off at the Stráňavy stop. From there, you will need to walk approximately 1 kilometer to reach Polom výhľad. Follow the Unnamed Road, and you will find the viewing point. Keep in mind that you may need to check the bus schedule for the return journey.

• Walking/Cycling

  If you prefer walking or cycling, you can start from the center of Martin. Follow the same route as if you were driving, using the sidewalks and bike paths available along Route 59. It is a scenic route that will take you through beautiful countryside, taking approximately 1.5 to 2 hours on foot, or about 30-40 minutes by bicycle.
